How we work

We put in writing from the start what we will do and what you will receive.

For on-site assessments, management and operating systems, new business setups, and the move to production, our work generally follows this sequence. Under each step, you'll find what we deliver at that stage.

Process

  1. We find the right starting point

  2. We fix the scope and the dates

  3. We observe from opening to closing

  4. We present reasoned options

  5. We implement and measure with your team

Step by step

We find the right starting point

First, we listen to you: your number of branches, your type of business, what you have been working on and for how long, and where you want to go. In this meeting, we work out together which service matches your needs.

What you get at this step

  • The right service and a first step
We fix the scope and the dates

We clarify which service is needed, at which branches, and for how many days, and whether you want the report only or implementation as well. We prepare the proposal based on this scope.

What you get at this step

  • A proposal with a defined scope
  • A plan of how many days we'll work at each branch
We observe from opening to closing

During an on-site assessment, we stay at your business and observe opening, peak hours, and quieter periods. We look at the kitchen, service, storage, cash register, team, how management operates, customers, and nearby competitors, and review whatever purchasing, inventory, and sales records we can access. For setup and production projects, we test the product and operations through samples, pilot runs, and trial services.

What you get at this step

  • Three to five days of on-site work per branch for chains
  • Five to ten days of on-site work for a single business
  • Samples, pilot runs, and trial services for setup and production projects
We present reasoned options

We write down what we observe, point by point. Next to each problem, we note its likely cause, and next to each opportunity, how it could be pursued. For chains, we compare branches with one another and show shared problems and branch-specific opportunities separately. We prepare the report separately after the on-site days.

What you get at this step

  • On-site notes and observations
  • Likely causes of the problems
  • Operations, team, and management recommendations
  • Revisions to products and product groups
  • Alternative strategies, sister brand, and virtual brand ideas
  • Additional revenue ideas using your current capacity
We implement and measure with your team

The report is yours, and you can stop there if you like. If you want to implement, we write the procedures and checklists for the change you choose, and if a product needs to change, we develop it. We teach the work to your team through short training sessions and define the metrics your manager will track. If needed, we also set up contract manufacturing and supply. We also return for follow-up on-site checks.

What you get at this step

  • Written procedures, checklists, and team training
  • Metrics for the manager to track
  • Revised products and recipes
  • Follow-up on-site checks

What we pay attention to

  • We rely on records and observation

We base our recommendations on direct observation on-site and on the records we can access. Financial and legal review remains the domain of your accountant and legal counsel.

  • The decision is yours

We write down what we see and why. You choose which recommendations to implement.

  • Alongside your team

During implementation, we work side by side with your chef, your manager, and your staff. The procedures we write and the training we provide stay with your team.

  • We test in a pilot first

We first test the change you choose at a pilot branch or in a pilot program, then manage its rollout to your other locations. We define the metrics you'll track together with you, and we stay with you during the follow-up site checks.

Frequently asked questions

What do you charge?

The scope of the work determines the fee. The number of branches, the number of days, and whether you want a report only or implementation as well all affect the proposal. Analysis, reporting, and travel are charged separately.

We have our own team. Why would we need you?

Your team runs the day-to-day work. We stay outside it, look at your business through the customer's eyes from opening to closing, and compare your branches with one another. During implementation, we work together with your team.

Can we get just the report and handle implementation ourselves?

Yes. The report stays with you. If you decide on implementation later, we can work together at that stage too.

Our budget is tight. Can we start with a single service?

Yes. For example, you can start with an on-site assessment and report, and decide on implementation later.

How does payment work for ready-made brands?

Through a one-time fee. Defined usage rights and adaptation to your business are included in this fee; you pay once.

What do you prepare on the digital side?

We prepare written operating procedures, digital checklists, and management review routines. You continue the software and ERP side with your current provider; we put the workflow and controls in writing.
